The Alabama Grocers Education Foundation Foundation Annual Spring Golf Outing will be on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 at Inverness Country Club located at 1 Country Club Drive, Birmingham, Alabama. Money raised at this event benefit the AGEF Scholarship Program to help fund scholarships for future generations. To date, the AGEF has awarded over a million dollars in scholarships. Your support is vital for us to continue to fund scholarships to deserving students.
FLIGHT SCHEDULE
The morning flight will have a light continental breakfast starting at 6:00 am and will tee off at 7:30 am. There will be a combined lunch for both the morning and afternoon flights starting at 11:30 am. This lunch will include the morning tournament awards as well as door prizes for both flights. The afternoon flight will tee off at 1:00 pm and a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres will follow with the tournament awards. No dinner will be provided.
SPONSORSHIPS
Presenting Sponsor: Sponsor will receive entry fees for 8 players, special recognition, logo on association giveaway item, a sign during the meal functions and recognition in the welcome sheet and in the convention yearbook. Cost: $3,000 ($2,400 is tax deductible).
Hole Sponsor: Sponsor will receive entry fees for 4 players, individual sign on the course as well as recognition in the welcome sheet and in the convention yearbook. Cost: $1,300 ($1,00 is tax deductible).
Half Hole Sponsor: Sponsor will receive entry fees for 2 players, shared sign on the course as well as recognition in the welcome sheet and in the convention yearbook. Cost: $650 ($500 is tax deductible).
Quarter Hole Sponsor: Sponsor will receive a shared sign on the course as well as recognition in the welcome sheet and in the convention yearbook. Cost: $300 ($300 is tax deductible).
Breakfast Sponsor: Sponsor will have a shared sign at the breakfast and recognition in the welcome sheet. Cost: $1,000 ($1,000 is tax deductible).
Lunch Sponsor: Sponsor will have a shared sign at the lunch as well as recognition in the welcome sheet and in the convention yearbook. Cost: $1,500 ($1,500 is tax deductible).
Cocktail Sponsor: Sponsor will have a shared sign at the cocktail reception as well as recognition in the welcome sheet and in the convention yearbook. Cost: $1,000 ($1,000 is tax deductible).
ENTRY FEE
$175 per person. This includes green fees, golf cart, food, refreshments, 2 mulligans and prizes. ($75 is tax deductible)
PRIZES
Support your Foundation by being a prize donor. We need the following prizes: golf balls, golf towels, putters, TV’s, game systems, golf bags, coolers, umbrellas, and any other prizes. All prize donors will be featured in the convention yearbook.
